Introducing Forkito ACL - a project that aims to deliver simplified and logical ACL through reusable library compatible with all main Joomla based projects and will come in 3 flavors:

* Joomla

fork flavor (working - proof of concept)

* Molajo flavor (in progress - main part of the project)

* Nooku flavor (coming after Molajo is done).

J & Beyond 2011

What a great event! Three days packed with dozens of high powered learning sessions presented by some of the top guys in the Joomlasphere. 

It was great to meet up with some familiar faces (avators) including Jen Kramer, Dean Marshall, Brian Teeman, Fotis (of K2 fame) and many, many more. Excellent food, great company and unbelievable location and weather.

J & Beyond 2011 - The aftermath

Unless you have been living under a rock for the last few weeks you will know that the largest international gathering of the Joomla development community took place at the beginning of the month in Kerkrade, The Netherlands. 

Rather than write a report on the event in the immediate aftermath I thought I would wait a while and try and allow some time to get my thoughts in order. Of course the opportunity to sober up and grab more than 2 hours sleep would also help.
